Alyssa Lizzini is an artist from Cleveland, Ohio, who uses drawing and painting to connect with moments lost to time, creating windows to place and memory. Lizzini's layered images are inspired by her archival, ethnographic, and visual research of city spaces. She is interested in what it means to live in a city- in our human-built networks so profoundly influenced by socioeconomic status, contextual history, and the memories held by the built environment. In the studio, she uses drawing, painting, and printmaking techniques to create visually complex images that mirror the complexity of our social and spatial world. Lizzini graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Cleveland Institute of Art in 2022.
